Fees and Rebates
Our fees are reflective of the high quality services we are committed to offering our clients and the ongoing, advanced training engaged in to provide effective evidence-based therapy consistent with current best practice.
We know how frustrating it is to have to contact a business just to know how much things cost.
So, we believe in being transparent about our fees. Our current fee schedule is as follows:
Standard: $240
Saturdays: $280
Medicare, Private Health and both self and plan-managed NDIS are accepted, but unfortunately we are currently unable to work with clients funded via any other forms of funding including Work Cover (RTWSA) and DVA. We do not bulk bill.
Medicare
Not only do we accept Medicare funding, but we process your claims for you too!
In order for you to obtain Medicare rebates for your sessions you must have both a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan completed by a General Practitioner or your Psychiatrist. We require both of these documents to process your claims.
Medicare will rebate you $96.65 per session thus leaving you with an out-of-pocket gap payment of $143.35 per session ($183.35 for out of hours sessions). Medicare requires that you pay the full fee upfront before receiving your rebate, for example, you pay $240 in full and you will receive $96.65 into your nominated bank account through Medicare.
Many clients are unaware of the Medicare Safety Net, which can cover 70-90% of your fees.
Private Health
Helen's services are accepted by all health funds. If you have health insurance covering psychology services, your insurer should provide you a benefit for our services. While we do not process your private health claims for you, following payment, we can provide you with an invoice that your insurer will accept, and they will reimburse you from there.
