How long does each therapy session go for?

Sessions generally run for around 50 minutes, though if you have booked in for a session of Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, depending on your circumstances and needs, these sessions may run for up to 90 minutes. This will be discussed with you at the time of booking, and we will work together to establish session durations that work for you.

What therapies do you use?

This depends upon your personality, circumstances, concerns and preferences. All approaches our therapists use are evidence-based

psychological interventions. These include Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy and

Emotion-Focussed Therapy. Our therapeutic approaches involve an eclectic and creative delivery of tools and interventions to best suit your needs and assist you to achieve your therapeutic goals.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on many factors including your goals, needs and circumstances. We can offer more clarity surrounding this following assessment, when we have  a good idea of your symptoms, concerns and history. While it is incredibly important to us to reduce your distress and offer you timely relief, we cannot rush or go any faster than your body and mind will allow us to. We will work together to establish a plan that will address your needs as quickly as is realistically achievable.

Do you see clients attending via Third Party funding?

Unfortunately at present we are unable to consult with clients attending via third parties, including ReturnToWork and insurers (this does not

include private health). We are not a registered NDIS provider, however clients with NDIS funding who are self-managed are able to pay privately and obtain reimbursement via NDIS.

Do you do reports or assessments?

Neither reports nor psychological testing are currently available.
